About Co-op Program
The Engineering Cooperative Education Program (Co-op) is for juniors (54 credits or above) that provides an extended experiential learning experience for students in industry beyond a traditional summer internship. These experiential experiences can be from September – January, May – December, January – May or January – August. Co-op students are required to register for CEWP 4297 through Brian Schwarz in EII 302 or through the Center for Career Development in Wilbur Cross 202. The School of Engineering is developing relationships for co-op with key employers in the State of Connecticut for the launch of this program, i.e. Trumpf, United Technologies, General Dynamics Electric Boat, BL Companies, Quest Global, Jacob Vehicle Systems, Henkel, Pfizer, etc.
